The ARFOS scholarship is awarded to a deserving black, female high school senior in recognition of academic and civic achievement. We hope that this scholarship further stimulates and enables young women to achieve their full academic potential. Introduced in 2005, this scholarship will award one* $500 scholarship yearly. The basis for selection include scholastic ability, leadership qualities, community involvement, school involvement and good citizenship. The ARFOS scholarship is a one-year, non-renewable award that is not need based.
