11th Annual Meeting Highlights Trump Hotel, Las Vegas NV July 14 - July 15 2009 |
Our 2009 Scholarship winner Khalia Branch and her mother stopped by to meet the Partners. Martha Khoplin unfortunately will no longer be the advisor for A Room Full of Sister. We will miss the enthusiasm and energy that she has always demonstrated, and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Dicussion and decisions were made regarding the current investment portfolio as to what to buy, what to sell, what to keep and what to investigate. For more detail on potential purchases, please refer to the meetings notes from this meeting. Some changes were made to the Maintenance Fees and Monthly Dues - Please refer to the meeting notes. Review of original 10 year goals (1998 - 2009) - After reviewing the minutes from the first meeting in 1998 it was obvious that while we have sucessfully met the majority of our original goals set 10 years ago, the commitment level from the Partners was lacking. A five (5) year "re-evalution" period was agreed upon during which ARFOS will recommit ourselves to our mission, purpose and responsibilities. Please refer to the meeting notes for more detail. A five (5) year freeze on new members was agreed upon. Full participation from all Partners is expected, i.e. voting, dues, meeting attendance, stock research, communication, etc. |
